Supervising Faculty Member:
Gabrielle Adams
Research Focus:

I am a behavioral scientist. I use data and conduct experiments to study social justice, racism, and morality/ethics in organizations and public policy. USOAR students will assist in literature reviews, reading and carefully sorting study participants' responses, and recruiting participants and running them through experimental protocols.

Position Description:

USOAR students will participate in all aspects of the lab and research process, including literature reviews, data analysis, recruiting participants, and lab meetings. This enables you to gain exposure to the full cycle of the research and publication process in organizational behavior/management/social psychology. This will culminate in the selection of one of the lab's project at the end of the year on which to conduct data analysis and present findings. You will work closely with my lab manager, from whom you will receive project assignments, as well as other undergraduate research assistants (whom you will meet!).

As a professor, I am jointly appointed across Darden/Batten/Psychology, and my research is broadly related to how people behave in organizations. The lab's topics of study include ethics/morality/decision-making/social justice.

Required Skills:

Above all, successful applications will be organized and detail-oriented with good "follow-through."
Interest in either psychology and/or data analysis is a plus but certainly not required

Training/Certification:
