This work will focus on literature research, collecting and analyzing qualitative data collected in listening sessions and workshops, academic writing, public-facing writing, liaising with UVA partners (incl. leadership) and presenting research findings and recommendations (STC structure).
You will join Sloane Lab (https://www.monasloane.org/sloane-lab), a vibrant research group of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and faculty researchers dedicated to understanding the social dimensions of AI. Specifically, you will become part of the Student Technology Council project, a research and impact project dedicated to establishing the nation's first student body focused on advising the university on technology procurement, innovation, and governance.
High motivation, good communication skills, reliability and a passion for technology and governance is a must
